Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LastRun collects, uses, shares, and deletes information when you use the LastRun iPhone app, Apple Watch app, and web service.

Information you provide

• Account information: your name, email address, password hash, profile details, skiing preferences, and notification preferences.
• Activity information: ski visits, uploaded GPX, KML, or KMZ activity data, performance measurements, notes, and images you choose to submit.
• Voice requests: audio you record for the voice assistant and the resulting transcript needed to answer your request.

Information collected with your permission

• Location: precise GPS coordinates used to identify nearby resorts, record ski sessions, calculate speed and vertical, and provide route or resort guidance.
• Health and fitness: workout routes, workout timing, heart-rate samples, and related fitness measurements imported from or saved to Apple Health.
• Notifications: an Apple Push Notification service device token used to deliver alerts you enable.

You can deny or withdraw device permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without the information they require.

Purchases

For purchases made in the iPhone app, Apple processes payment details. LastRun receives transaction identifiers, product information, entitlement status, and expiration information needed to provide and restore paid access. Apple does not provide LastRun with your full payment-card number.

Purchases made on the LastRun website are processed by Stripe. Payment information entered directly into Stripe is handled under Stripe's privacy practices; LastRun receives the billing and subscription status needed to provide service.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide trip planning and resort conditions, process activity imports, calculate performance and wellness estimates, deliver voice and Watch features, manage subscriptions, send requested alerts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve the service.

Performance and wellness results are estimates. They are intended for general informational and recreational use and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Service providers and sharing

LastRun uses service providers only as needed to operate features:

• Google Cloud, including App Engine and Firestore, for hosting and account-linked storage.
• OpenAI to transcribe voice requests and generate voice-assistant responses.
• Apple for HealthKit, WeatherKit, push notifications, TestFlight, and in-app purchases.
• Stripe for subscription purchases made on the website.
• Weather data providers, including an identified resort-weather fallback when WeatherKit is unavailable.
• Google Analytics on the public website. Google Analytics is disabled in the native iPhone app web views.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use HealthKit, location, or voice data for targeted advertising. LastRun does not enable cross-app tracking in its iPhone or Watch app.

Data retention and security

We retain account and activity information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal obligations. Transient files may be retained briefly while a request is processed. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and deletion

You can update profile and notification choices in LastRun. You can permanently delete your LastRun account from the Profile screen. Account deletion removes your profile and account-linked LastRun records unless retention is legally required.

Deleting a LastRun account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel Apple billing in your Apple Account subscription settings before deleting the account if you do not want it to renew.

Children

LastRun is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Do not use LastRun if local law does not permit you to consent to this processing.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. For privacy questions or requests, use the developer support contact shown on LastRun's App Store product page. You may also use in-app account deletion at any time.
